About
Hi, I'm Alex Jennings and I have been teaching maths to home-educated students and mainstream educated students since 2010. As a qualified and experienced teacher and a parent myself, I am able to combine my experiences with my teaching skills to provide an adaptive, creative and supportive programme of education for all students.

I have extensive experience of teaching GCSE, iGCSE and Functional Skills in small groups and on a one-to-one basis. During the COVID pandemic, I supported my students in achieving their iGCSEs and GCSEs, whilst also working as a marker. I teach Functional Skills maths at levels 1 and 2 to a wide range of learners - both studying from home and within the work environment.

With this experience as an approved marker and professional maths teacher, I am able to prepare students fully for exam success.

I consider it a huge privilege to teach students from all backgrounds and am always keen to communicate regularly with parents and students, to share learning goals, achievements and provide recommendations for consolidation of learning at home.

I live in Malton, North Yorkshire, with my three children and love to spend my free time walking in the hills.
